Provision, the leading software platform for food safety and quality management, is pleased to announce the appointment of Elizabeth Fernandes to its Strategic Advisory Group. Fernandes, a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in global food operations, joins a distinguished panel of experts guiding Provision’s product innovation and industry alignment.
Fernandes currently serves as the Founder & Lead Consultant at Precision Food Solutions. Her appointment follows a high-profile career leading food safety at some of North America’s most prominent food organizations. Most recently, she served as Global Vice President of Food Safety and Quality at McCain Foods, where she directed global programs and operational excellence. Her previous leadership roles include Director of FSQA, Produce at US Foods and National Food Safety Manager at Fresh Express.

The appointment of Fernandes signals a period of significant growth for Provision as the company increases its focus on mid-stream food operations, including value-added processing, multi-ingredient manufacturing, and large-scale distribution. Fernandes joins the advisory group alongside other industry luminaries, such as Dr. Jennifer McEntire and Jennifer Williams, providing the strategic insight necessary to support Provision’s latest enterprise partners, which include billion-dollar brands like Canfisco and Palermo’s Pizza.
Fernandes holds a Master’s degree in Food Safety from Michigan State University and an MBA from Northeastern University. Her unique blend of academic rigor and executive experience in sanitation, cold chain management, and regulatory compliance will help ensure Provision remains the gold standard for food safety software in the enterprise sector.
